The Police Department is dedicated to providing a number of services in the interest of the citizens of the City of Lindsborg. These duties include, but are not limited to, protecting and serving the public. Police Chief & Director of Public Safety Michael Davis oversees the Department’s 7 full-time employees at the Lindsborg Safety Center, 102 South First Street (SW corner of Lincoln and First Streets). The building is open to the public between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Police coverage is provided 24 hours a day. All calls are forwarded to a centralized dispatch after hours so that Officers can immediately respond to any and all emergencies.

Therefore, it is the policy of the Lindsborg Police Department to accept and thoroughly investigate all complaints of alleged misconduct by any member of this department. The complaint process has two goals: to correct improper employee conduct and to protect the employee from unwarranted criticism when their actions were lawful and justified.

This letter will provide you with the necessary information to file a personal complaint with this department. You can be assured that your complaint will be given our full and complete attention.
