Fire Fighter Training
| Volunteer Fire Fighter Information The Lindsborg Volunteer Fire Department currently consists of 21 members. Volunteers are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and must respond to a page if they are within the boundaries of McPherson County Fire District 8. The Department holds training on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month to keep the fire personnel up to date and familiar with equipment. The department also gets all members in good standing certified through the state as Fire Fighter level 1 & 2. Training Sessions Training sessions involve practical training as of using jaws of life (right photo), checking fire-engine, hose and equipment, talking about changes within the firehouse, acting at the fire scene, or getting new knowledge to become a better fireman. |
