Self-Guided Art Tour:
Lindsborg’s founding fathers and the Lindsborg community of today are dedicated to higher learning and love of the arts. Central to the community is Bethany College, a private liberal arts college with a long tradition in the arts. Lindsborg is home to the longest running continual performance of Handel’s Messiah, and Broadway RFD is the longest running outdoor theater in the state of Kansas. The local school district was awarded for being one of the best 100 communities in America for outstanding music programs in primary education. Presentations of music, visual arts and performing arts are at the heart of our daily lives and ethnic celebrations. With 60 working artists and nine public working studios and galleries, public art is a way of life in the 'Borg.

Outside in downtown Lindsborg:
The 100 and 200 block of South Main and the 100 block of North Main are hosts to 47 works of art from artists both past and present. Look for paintings, the Wild Dala herd, sculptures, wind vanes, murals, iron works and tiles.

  • The Old Grind, 112 N. Main St.  - Tabletops pictorially depicting coffology, the study of coffee.
