  3. Lindsborg Collects...Lindsborg Art (Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays Only)

    March 19, 1:00 PM - April 16, 5:00 PM

The public’s response to the first four years was so positive from the perspectives of the exhibitors and the viewers that the “Lindsborg Collect…” committee is excited to present the fifth annual exhibition. The concept of this art exhibition is to celebrate local collectors of local art. Organizers seek art and craft entries from anyone with a “67456” mailing address and display the works, in some cases, this is their first public showing. In past years, there have been works from every medium, including paintings, sketches, wood carvings, pottery, jewelry, metalwork, photography, and fiber work by some of Lindsborg’s best known artisans and those artists not so well-known. Entries by residents are sent in with a “story,” relating the circumstances under which the piece was purchased, the personalities involved or tongue-in-cheek moments. All artists either lived or worked in Lindsborg or attended Bethany College.
